The scientific conference is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the foundation of Gavar State University
Gavar State University was established by decision No. 208 of May 5, 1993, made by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. Thanks to the persistent efforts of the Founding Rector of GSU, Honored Educator of the Republic of Armenia, Founding Head of the Chair of Theory and History of Religion of Yerevan State University, Honorary Citizen of Gavar, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor Hrant Hakobyan, his daughter – the Deputy of the Supreme Council and then the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Founding Minister of the Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia, Doctor of Law, Professor Hranush Hakobyan and a group of devotees, the university was established and reinforced in the higher education system of Armenia and gained educational, scientific, social and cultural importance in Gegharkunik Region. The 26th international conference is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the University foundation marked in 2023.
