DISCUSSION AT GPU WITHIN THE EU "ERASMUS+ KPI4HE" PROGRAM

S. the On July 11, at the meeting of the Scientific Council of Gavar State University, a discussion was held dedicated to the European Union's "ERASMUS+ KPI4HE. Creation of a national framework of key indicators of proper management and quality assurance activities of inclusive, digital and green higher education in Armenia" program. Lilit Torchyan, head of the external relations and media department of GSU, presented the evaluation process of the results and impact of the project launched within the framework of the Quality Assurance Strategy (QAS) of the "ERASMUS+ KPI4HE" project. For this purpose, a survey is being conducted to find out to what extent the project has contributed to the capacity development of participating universities' employees, the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs), strategic planning, the improvement of university management and quality assurance systems, as well as to evaluate the overall quality of project implementation. It was noted that the evaluation process includes the main outputs and tools of the project, namely the Training Kit, the National Guide to Institutional Research and Strategic Planning (GIRSPA), the Operational Manuals for Institutional Research (OMIR), revised state institutional accreditation criteria in line with GIRSPA, pilot activities for institutional research and strategic planning, as well as quality assurance, information dissemination and project management processes. GSU Rector Ruzanna Hakobyan highlighted the importance of the program, emphasizing that the "ERASMUS+ KPI4HE" program for Gavar State University has become not only a successful example of international cooperation, but also an important stimulus for the development of management culture and quality assurance system. Mrs. Hakobyan noted that the tools developed within the framework of the project will contribute to data-based decision-making, increasing the effectiveness of strategic planning and the continuous development of the university, expressing confidence that the evaluation will help not only value the work done, but also outline new opportunities for further development, ensuring the stability and long-term impact of the results of the "KPI4HE" project. The members of the Scientific Council of the Gavar State University emphasized the active participation of all project stakeholders in the evaluation process, considering it as an important component of strengthening the university's quality culture and evaluating the results of international cooperation.
